I can be perfectly serious, deep (maybe even intellectual), and philosophical, and I can be a silly goof (just ask my grand!). I tend not to get fanatical about anything, be it physical activity (although I think I look after myself), books, theatre, or any other hobby, including dining-in with friends. I find it overwhelming and tiresome to do any one thing over long intervals ("too much of a good thing,..."), although I like to return to things that I've gotten sick of AFTER an appropriate interval. When I'm into something I like it in high concentrations. I have a higher-than-average sex drive (officially! Go ahead, ask me!). I have a wide range of interests, though, and I'll happily support you in any of your other 'must do' pursuits, providing that you don't expect me to accompany you in them at all times.
