Should an unactive member be deleted?

Should an unactive member been deleted after let say, 3 month or more?

They keep the inactive profiles on to boast the members count!

No. Can't a search be done for only active members? I don't search myself so no idea how it works. But knowing this site has problems even if it can be done (not show in search results ) doesn't mean that part works.

But profiles that have been dormant [no site activity] for more than 6 months , should be deleted.

I know there are some people on here who put a great deal time and effort into their profiles. If someone wants to take a break because they might have found something that could lead to something long term, they should have the opportunity to step away. If they seriously want to give it a shot, messaging other's during that time may not help the situation. Take a break and see where it goes. Many return as singles some return as a couple and some may not return at all.
I do agree that after 6 months of inactivity the profile should be no longer visible though

Anyone who is paying is here to stay, but I do think they need to do a better job with inactive accounts

Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.
