Unless you just want random hookups, you have to talk sooner or later. Divisive views will not bring people together. In this time of polarized politics, it is difficult to be in the middle anymore. I like having a wide ranging set of conversations with a person in my life. I think two people who share views that are not polarized and can talk rationally have a shot together, but too many can't be civil in these discussions if their views are not mirrored. Sad, but true. Now if you are just swinging, leave politics out of it and fuck, ongoing relationships are different.

You obviously hate Trump so you hate everyone that voted for him, no matter how wonderful that person might actually be. You seem to have a very tiny window of tolerance. Try opening up your mind to other people's opinions besides your own. You'll find you'll be a much happier person.

The question "Does it matter you if your hookups voted for one or the other" would/should be framed differently in the survey. How/who people vote in America is a protected right of privacy (until you foolishly give it up). Notwithstanding the fact that one should follow their own convictions. How they vote doesn't matter as much as how they come to vote in that direction and what they truly believe. Not what they say they believe. What they know, don't know and what they believe and the caution they use in the process means more than a vote for 'who cares who it is'. As far as the above survey, that was a decision for or against the politically motivated racketeer influenced corrupt organizations of career politicians and big government against the people (who are suppose to own its government).
